I'm told it's a twenty minute walk from Daley Center, which is in the heart of downtown and the easiest place in Chicago to get off of a train. Daley Center is also where you can admire the bronze sculpture of a Buzzard that Pablo Picasso made as an old man I slid down as a child.<br /><br />I'd like to make approximate reservations so if you know you'll be there, please let me know. Right now I have Terry and The Bear and Old Mule confirmed. We have chosen not to gather at a single hotel but would like to make available this space for people who want hotel roommates to find each other. If you would like to share a hotel room, leave a comment below. I will be happy to share email addresses if I get permission via email. <br /><br />Along with the above detail-rich plan, I will figure out a place for those arriving Friday to meet Friday night, and a lunch spot for Saturday for those arriving Saturday. I believe Neva has an idea for a vegetarian supper. As far as I'm concerned the rest of the time can proceed organically, but I'd be inclined to miss other details.
